Wednesday, October 23, Milford Public Schools welcomes Jay Martin, national presenter, author, and Nebraska Department of Education, School Safety & Security Director. Mr. Martin will speak at 5:30 PM in the High School Auditorium.

Here are the updated brackets for the SNC VB Tournament. Three rounds of action will occur at Milford tonight with matches beginning in both gyms at 4:30 PM. Milford will take on the Titans of Thayer Central in the semi-finals at 5:30 PM in the North Gym. #milfordsoar

Here are the planned activities for October 14 - 19. Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences are Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 - 8:00 PM. Milford will host SNC Volleyball on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Friday, October 18 there is no school for Fall Break. Have a great week Eagle Nation! Go Big M! #milfordsoar

Fine Arts Boosters will have a tailgate on Friday, October 11, from 6:00 PM to halftime of the Milford vs Central City Football game. $7 Meal Deal gets you a Hamburger or Brat, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Chips, Dessert, and water or pop. We hope to see you Friday!

Here are the planned Milford Public Schools Activities for October 7-12. The 7-12 Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Wednesday, October 9 from 4:30 - 8:30 PM in the South Gym. A 9-12 College/Military/Career Fair will be held in the North Gym from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. All 9-12 Grade Students and Parents are encouraged to attend.

Do you have concerns about a child’s development? If a child’s growth or learning is slower than that of other children the same age, it is best to check it out as soon as possible. Many children do not “outgrow” a problem. The Early Development Network can help you determine if your child is developing typically or if they qualify for services or supports to live healthy and successful lives. Nebraska Early Development Network is available to children birth to age 3 who have a developmental delay or disability. If you suspect that your child or a child you know has a delay and you live in the ESU 6 service area (Counties: Seward, Saline, York, Lancaster, and Fillmore) please call ESU 6 at 402-761-3341 and ask for the Early Development Network. There is no cost to families for year round services coordination. One of our Services Coordinators will be in contact with you to help your family find services to meet developmental, educational, financial, health care, child care, respite care and other needs. They will help you work with multiple providers to make sure services are provided as needed. Nebraska Early Development Network is supported through the collaborative efforts of the Nebraska Department of Education and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
