The recent stories shared in #Milfordsoar Careers 8 classes come from our own alumni. KC Herman (Class of 2013) is the Regional Director of Philanthropy at Avera Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His story encouraged students to value relationships, pursue a purpose, and develop leadership skills through different organizations. Janae Nitzsche (Class of 2020) shared her career journey through the exercise science program at Wayne State College. Janae gets to be involved with sports and helping others out, which she values. She also shared how building positive relationships makes her career choice one she is excited about after receiving her Master's Degree.

Tonight the high school held parent-teacher conferences and the annual Career, College, Military Fair for students. This was the biggest fair ever with 37 groups represented and participating in the event. What a great night to be a Milford Eagle! #milfordsoar

7 and 10 Grade Health Screenings will be conducted on Tuesday, October 10. #milfordsoar

The fourth grade had a presentation from Linda Anderson and Joyce Forst of the Pleasant Dale Legion to honor and recognize Constitution Day. We enjoyed learning and listening to them share about Constitution Day! #milfordsoar

The Fine Arts Seminar class attended the Doane Drama Camp on Monday, October 2. Students participated in workshops on Acting, Scene Painting, Costuming, and Stage Management and watched a performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Addison Sample was awarded the Outstanding Actor Award for the day.

The High School band traveled to Hastings on Saturday to compete in the Melody Roundup Parade with 11 other bands. Milford was one of only three schools to receive a Superior rating and a plaque. Allyson Taylor and Hannah Wittstruck were recognized as the best drum majors.

Results from Thursday's #Milfordsoar ESports matches: Valorant - Milford defeats Centennial 13 rounds to 1. Smash Bros. - Team 1 defeats EMF Team 2 by a score of 2 to 1 and lost to EMF Team 1 by a score of 0 to 2. Team 2 lost to both EMF teams by a score of 0 to 2.
